Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show Announces New Dates and Location

Las Vegas Convention Center Plays Host to June Event

New York, NY—The U.S. Antique Show’s annual Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show will take place this year at a new location, the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) June 5-8, 2017, opening the same day as JCK. This trade-only event boasts nearly 400 world-renown vendors of antique, vintage and estate jewelry and watches representing a wide range of eras, from Renaissance to contemporary. With elegant signed pieces from famous names such as Cartier, Rolex, David Webb, Harry Winston and Van Clef & Arpels, the event is an annual destination for retailers on the hunt for hard-to-find pieces to offer their discerning clientele.

“We’re excited to make the Las Vegas Convention Center our new home for our show this year,” explains Dan Darby, Vice President of Emerald Expositions and General Manager of U.S. Antique Shows. “With the addition of several new exhibitors, we’ll have a greater breadth of merchandise than in years past; we’re confident our 21st year will be one of our best yet!”

As with all U.S. Antique Show events, the vendors exhibiting at the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show are the premier authorities in their fields, and as such, they spend ample time guiding retailers through their buying decisions. This foundation of knowledge has proved a valuable asset in retailers’ discussions with collectors of antique and estate jewelry and timepieces.

Three additional Emerald Expositions shows will be running concurrently in Las Vegas during Jewelry Market Week: ACRE, the premier wholesale craft exposition in North America, Jewellery Box, a new event for high-quality, on-trend jewelry at accessible price points, and The COUTURE Show, the leading U.S. authority for designer fine jewelry and luxury timepieces.

LAS VEGAS (March 9, 2016) – The largest trade only event serving the antique jewelry and watch industry, the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, returns to the Paris Hotel and Casino on June 2-5. Ideally timed during Jewelry Market Week, the event is managed by show producer U.S. Antique Shows.

“2016 is a very exciting year for the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show as we celebrate our 20th year as the nation’s number one trade event for antique, vintage and estate jewelry,” says Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions vice president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager. “In those 20 years, the show has outgrown four earlier venues and now boasts an exhibitor and attendee base from 35 countries.”

Each year, the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show welcomes thousands of jewelry trade experts to view the finest antique jewelry and watches from all corners of the world. The show’s dedication in offering distinguished and unique merchandise has made it a staple in Las Vegas for two decades. With more than 400 booths, collections range from the Renaissance to Modern periods. Items on the show floor include exquisite gemstone and diamond jewelry, retro watches, cameos and intaglios, flora and fauna statement pieces and more. In addition, elegant signed pieces from famous brands including Cartier, Bulgari, David Webb, Harry Winston, Patek Philippe, Buccellati, Van Cleef & Arpels and many others will be available.

“We exhibit at the Vegas show each year because it gathers dealers from all over the world, allowing us to build strong client relationships. Connections are the core value for our future business,” says Adelina Markarian of Nally Jewels. “We’re bringing some very unique pieces to the show that we know will garner a lot of attention from attendees including a set of 66 carat Columbian emerald earrings.”

For Rosaria Varra from R & A International Design, the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show holds very fond memories for her. “This was the first show I exhibited at about a decade ago and it was a huge milestone for me professionally – a turning point for my business. I get excited about the show every year because it exposes my business to new buyers and retailers and introduces me to the latest trends in the jewelry trade. It is perfectly timed to coincide with the JCK show and since this show is the only antique jewelry event occurring during Jewelry Market Week, it enhances the attendee experience by providing them with the opportunity to see antique jewelry from all over the world.”

Registration is now open for the jewelry trade only. Pre-registration is $30, on-site is $50 for all four days. The show opens one day before JCK Las Vegas Show. Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show Achieves Another Record Year of Attendance

LAS VEGAS (June 8, 2015) – U.S. Antique Shows recently concluded the 19th annual Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show with a six percent increase in attendance for all days of the event. The four day tradeshow was held at the Paris Hotel & Casino during Las Vegas’ Jewelry Week, May 28-31, 2015.

“With the Euro at the lowest we’ve seen it in more than a decade, we were cautiously optimistic about the level of attendance and buying we’d see from international markets this year. While there were fewer international attendees, those who did attend came to buy and provided our dealers with some of their strongest sales,” says Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions vice president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager. “The increase in attendance from the U.S. market helped us achieve our outstanding show results.”

The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show is the largest trade only event serving the antique jewelry and watch industry. Nearly 400 exhibitors grace the show floor each year to display the finest merchandise obtained from all across the globe. No other show in the world brings together nationally and internationally recognized dealers to present their rare and unique collections in one venue.

“The 2015 Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show was my all-time best show, not only for my current business, but for any company I have ever represented in my career. Highlights of the show were significant sales on important consigned diamonds,” says Doug Liebman of Douglas M. Liebman Estate Jeweler.

Gus Davis of Camilla Dietz Bergeron, Ltd. echoed Liebman’s sentiments reporting, “The Las Vegas show is one of the most remarkable shows in the nation because it hosts so many dealers of different backgrounds under one roof. I had extremely strong sales of important signed pieces this year at the show.”

U.S. Antique Shows’ sponsor Polygon hosted a Trading Pavilion at the show on Wednesday, May 27. This pavilion was a huge success with all that were in attendance. Several dealers used this opportunity to get a head start on selling and trade merchandise the day before the show opened.

The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2016. U.S. Antique Shows has big plans that benefit both dealers and attendees alike. The show producer will announce more details once they become available.

The next show scheduled for U.S. Antique Shows is the New York Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, July 24-27, 2015 at the Metropolitan Pavilion. For more information on any U.S. Antique Shows’ events, visit www.USAntiqueShows.com.

The 19th Annual Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show Will Feature Never Before Seen Pieces

LAS VEGAS (March 4, 2015) – Hundreds of dealers and thousands of attendees will once again gather at the Paris Hotel and Casino for the 19th Annual Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show. Held May 28-31, the trade-only event is managed by world leading show producer, U.S. Antique Shows.

“Last year, our show proved the increasing interest and importance of antique, estate and vintage jewelry with attendance increasing by 11 percent cumulatively despite tightened registration criteria for those wishing to attend,” says Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions vice president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager. “We’re very excited for this year’s event and are anticipating another increase in overall attendance as new exhibitors have been added to complement the list of well-known dealers. Attendees can again expect to see merchandise not previously available in this marketplace.”

The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show features the finest quality of antique jewelry and watches in the nation. Items displayed on the show floor include beautiful gemstone and diamond jewelry, retro watches, unique brooches, flora and fauna statement pieces, chandelier earrings, and more. The merchandise ranges from the Renaissance to Modern periods. In addition, elegant signed pieces from famous names including Cartier, Tiffany’s, David Webb, Harry Winston, Patek Philippe, Van Cleef & Arpels, and many others will be available.

Jewelry dealer Paul Haig of Haig’s of Rochester is excited about returning to the show after a long absence. “I have decided to return to the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show because when I analyzed which shows had been the best shows based on costs to profits, Vegas was strong. The show has the largest group of jewelry dealers in the U.S., allowing me the ability to acquire new merchandise as well as attend associated shows running concurrently in Vegas. I also received a good number of calls from my regular customers asking me why I didn’t exhibit and that they missed buying from me at the show. For these reasons, I’m back on board!”

The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show also continues to bring staple dealers back year after year. Joe Murawski of Joden World Resources is one of those dealers and he will be presenting a variety of merchandise he recently acquired at the 2015 show. He shared that he will be showcasing two incredibly rare pieces – an original 1870’s Carlo Giuliano bar brooch with a cabochon chrysoberyl, natural pearls and black and white enamel as well as a 1940’s convertible bangle with an aquamarine, twelve cabochon rubies and nine diamonds. Both pieces will be at the Joden World Resources Booth 1508.

Registration is now open for the jewelry trade only. Pre-registration is $30, on-site is $50 for all four days. The show opens one day before JCK Las Vegas Show. The event is hosted by U.S. Antique Shows, the world’s leading producer of indoor antique shows.

“The improvements made to this year’s show was largely based on feedback we received from our exhibitors,” says Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions vice president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager. “The redesign of the show floor, attendee badging system and thoroughly vetting attendees who can access the show proved successful. We received an overwhelming amount of positive remarks from both dealers and attendees who felt that the new show floor design was easier to navigate and shop. As a result of these incredibly successful changes, we had more than 90 percent of dealers renew their booths for 2015.”
